NOTE: Any vehicle that runs on trucks, can develop flat spots on the contact surface of wheels, especially when brakes are applied too quickly and the train skids. (Yes, they really can). The flat spots, if major, require the wheel to be taken off the vehicle and turned on a large lathe to get rid of the flat area.
