The Village Inn "Post" is a busy spot. Next to the post office, the owner has established a well patronised social venue. This neatly designed building mirrors some of the daily life in a small village or city.
In many small, remote towns, the main public transport, was the 'Post Bus', which carried, as the name implied, mail and passengers. It was logical, therefore, at the Post Offices themselves, that accommodation be provided. So came into being this type of establishment. See also VI1371
